TASTING NOTES

An immediately arresting wine here form the southern Rhône, deeply coloured, inky, with a massive nose-full of fresh but super-ripe black berry/cassis fruit, with plenty of floral-violet notes. The palate is a gentle giant, broad-scaled but not overly boozy or tannic, bursting with that dark fruit. Hugely satisfying, contemporary, but also regionally authentic. Drinkable now, but would cellar well for 1-3 years for the maximum complexity.
