Kent Rasmussen has spent years searching for the best "vineyards farmed by really engaged farmers who value quality above all else".

For this wine, Kent selected fruit from several of California's finest appellations including Mendocino, Sonoma, Napa, Paso Robles and Lodi. This is a Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend with a 5% of Petit Syrah, and was aged for 12 months in 20% new French oak barrels.

With a deep purple-black colour, this Cabernet Sauvignon has a rich noise of cedar, mint and black fruit. Full-bodied and structured, the wine bursts with layers of blackberry, boysenberry and blueberry. The wine has nice intensity, highlighting rounded tannins and a spicy earth-laced finish.

This wine is the perfect partner for rich grilled meats, peppery sauces and dishes full of flavour!
